LODGING

Unlike our prior trips to Colorado, this year we’re offering in our package costs a 6 night stay in a either a condo (studio or 1 bedroom) or a hotel room. The condos are called the River Mountain Lodge and are located in  downtown Breckenridge. Being that the Lodge is just a block off of Main Street in Breckenridge, one can readily walk to a variety of restaurants, shops and markets. The Lodge is located just across the street from Peak 9 at Breckenridge, and a short walk to the gondola which takes you to Peaks 7 & 8. In addition, just outside the Lodge on South Park Avenue is the bus stop for the free Breckenridge transit system. The Lodge also provides complimentary heated underground parking for all guests.

Each of the Studio units sleeps 4 people as they each come with a queen bed, and a sofa bed.  The units also come with a fully equipped kitchen, and provide a washer and dryer. Most units also come with a gas fireplace. Within the complex there is an outdoor pool, and both indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a sauna and a fitness center.  The one bedroom units are similarly equipped but also offer the privacy of having a separate bedroom. Please keep in mind that unlike a hotel room, once a reservation is made in a condo unit it cannot be withdrawn at a later date.

In addition to condos, we will again be offering hotel rooms in the Comfort Suites in Dillon. This hotel is in close proximity to many of the resorts in Summit County. Being at the edge of shopping center, the hotel offers easy access to a supermarket, many restaurants and a sporting goods store. The hotel rooms are equipped with 2 queen beds which are portioned off from small seating area. Each room also contains a microwave and a small refrigerator. The hotel offers a continental breakfast, an indoor pool and both indoor and an outdoor hot tubs.
