Comfort Suites in Dillon, Colorado

This is our seventh year staying at the Comfort Suites in the Dillon Ridge shopping center. As we occupy a majority of the available hotel rooms for the week, the staff does make a real effort to insure that our stay is a pleasant one. The hotel has an indoor pool, and both an indoor and outdoor hot tub. The rooms consist of either two queens or one king bed, a portioned area with a sofa (not a bed!), small refrigerator and a microwave. Each morning a continental breakfast is offered which includes juices, fruits, cereals, waffles, bagels, etc.  The shopping center offers a Ruby Tuesday, a Starbucks, Maxwell's (pizzeria/tavern), a Mexican restaurant, City Market (supermarket), Coldstone Ice Cream, a movie theatre and a Borders bookstore and just across the street is the Dillon Brewery. Within the complex is also Gart Sporting Goods which has a wide array of ski equipment, clothes, and rental equipment that is open every night until 9:00pm. Daily rental rates for 2009 are expected to be: $14 for skis; $17 for snowboards, and between $25 - $35 for high performance equipment.

The quoted cost on the various lift ticket packages assumes an occupancy of four people to a room as 75% of our rooms are occupied in that manner. If you are a party of 3 people, the premium above our quoted rates is $153 (or $51 per person) for the week; if there are two in a room, the premium for the week amounts to $306 (or $153 per person). Please keep in mind that the hotel charges us the same rate whether we have 1 to 4 people to a room; also the same rate is applied whether we have one king bed or two queen beds.
