Ground Transportation

Ground transportation between the Denver airport and the hotel in Dillon consists of two options: either a car rental or taking a shuttle van. In the past, these rental agencies have provided highly competitive rates: Enterprise, Thrifty, and Dollar Car Rental. If you’re a warehouse club member of either Costco or Sam’s Club, they also offer favorable rates. Whatever source you use to rent a vehicle, it’s advantageous to reserve one now as rates do nothing but increase as the trip date approaches. Another option is to take the Colorado Resort Express which normally charges from $34 to $50 depending where you are dropped off.
Once at the hotel, there is a free bus (Summit County Shuttle) which services the area's resorts. The shuttle stops twice an hour, operates between 6:00am to 12:00pm daily. The trip to Keystone and A-Basin normally takes 20 minutes; to Breckenridge and Copper approximately 45 minutes. The Summit Stage services all resorts with the exception of Vail and Beaver Creek. Vail is reached by bus by initially taking the Summit Stage to Keystone and then boarding a Vail Resort bus (premium of either $12, or $15, depending upon whether you have a reservation or not).
