For 2011, GK Adventures will be organizing and hosting a February ski trip to Colorado The ski trip will be conducted in Summit County from Saturday, February 20th to Saturday, February 26 th. Summit County is the home to some of Colorado’s premier ski resorts, including: Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and A-Basin. Also in close proximity are the resorts of Vail and Beaver Creek. The trip offers a variety of five day lift ticket packages to these resorts. In addition, the package deal includes six days of lodging in either centrally located Dillon, or a condo development in downtown Breckenridge, Colorado and round trip airfare between Detroit and Denver. Besides skiing, the County also offers a variety of other activities including dog sledding, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, bathing in hot springs, tubing and outlet shopping.
As a number of people indicated that their schools only had 4 days off for the Winter break, a ski/loading rate for a 4 day package (without flight) can be developed if desired. Also, as Southwest Airlines requires a name associated with every ticket by Monday, January 3rd, 2011 that is the cut-off date by which to make a deposit on the package that includes this flight option.
